In 2008 Jessica graduated from University of St. Francis in Joliet with a Bachelor Degree in Nursing. She then graduated in 2013 with a Master of Science in Nursing from Governor State University with concentration in Adult Clinical Nurse Specialist.

I enjoy spending time with my three children and husband, running, and watching movies.
What medical change has impacted the field of cancer the most since you began practicing medicine?
I would say pharmaceutical treatments because there are more drugs now that offer better management and outcomes.
Why did you choose your field?
I wanted to practice in a field that is constantly evolving for the better of the patient and felt oncology was that field.
Do you have any advice to give patients after they have been diagnosed with cancer?
Ask questions so that you are well informed and can take an active partnership in your care, and above all, try to remain positive and seek support from love ones.
