Kim received her bachelor of business administration from Roanoke College and her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Methodist College. She then received her master of science in nursing from OSF St. Francis College of Nursing.

Hobbies / Interests:

Game nights with family, spending time with friends and reading.

Why did you choose your field?

From the first time I stepped on the oncology floor during my nursing school clinicals, I knew that oncology was where I wanted to be. Being able to help those who are going through a difficult time in their life is very fulfilling.

Do you have any advice to give patients after they have been diagnosed with cancer?

Don’t be afraid to reach out for help. We are here to support you through this journey. You don’t have to do it alone.
