Staff Education:
I earned my medical degree from Christian Medical College in Ludhiana, India. I then completed my internal medicine residency at the University of Illinois in Chicago, a fellowship in geriatric medicine at Loyola University Medical Center, and a hematology/oncology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.
Work History:
I have more than 20 years of experience in hematology and oncology, including many years at Advocate Aurora Health in Aurora, Illinois, and most recently with Northwestern Medical Group in Orland Park.

Do you have any advice to give patients after they have been diagnosed with cancer?
For new patients, I encourage you to take a deep breath and focus on one day at a time. Remember that early-stage cancer is often curable, and even those with advanced disease are living longer than ever before. Whenever possible, involve your family and friends in your care – they can be an invaluable source of support on your journey.
