I love being with family. I have a large family and most of us live in central Illinois, so we get together often! My four kids (ages 11, 8, 6 & 4) keep me very busy with their hobbies. I also enjoy exercising and listening to podcasts! Why did you choose your field?
I started my nursing career taking care of St. Jude oncology/hematology patients and they stole my heart. The drive and love from those going through the most awful stage of life was unlike anything I had ever seen. It inspired me to live each day to the fullest.Do you have any advice to give patients after they have been diagnosed with cancer?
