Dr. Zhang received his medical degree from Tongji University School of Medicine in China. He then received a PhD degree in Biomedical Sciences from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. Dr. Zhang completed his internal medicine residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ. Following this, he pursued his hematology-oncology fellowship at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN.

Do you have any advice to give patients after they have been diagnosed with cancer?
Keep a positive attitude. With the advent of new treatments, the outcomes of many cancers have changed drastically in the past decade. My team and I will help you and your family go through these difficult times.
