What does this mean for our patients?

Our practice was founded on a vision and passion for ensuring all patients have access to care and receive world-class, comprehensive treatment close to home. Today, forty years later, Illinois CancerCare is continuing to expand upon that vision by reaching new communities and providing even more services to our patients and their families.

We will continue to partner with all healthcare systems in central and western Illinois to ensure all patients have access to care and receive world-class, comprehensive treatment.

Illinois CancerCare looks forward to being the premiere provider of medical oncology/hematology services at the new OSF HealthCare Cancer Institute. We are proud to elevate the cancer care experience of our mutual patients in the region with the new services and technology this center will bring to our area.

“Illinois Cancercare and OSF HealthCare have long been committed to helping patients through their cancer journeys,” said Madhuri Bajaj, MD. “We will continue to be an independent practice that provides medical oncology and hematology services to OSF HealthCare in Peoria and shared regional sites.”

Committed to you

“Patients-first” has always been our #1 value at Illinois CancerCare. We are proud to be one of the largest private oncology practices in the country and among the first to go to the patients in outlying communities offering world-class comprehensive care.

Illinois CancerCare was founded in 1977 with research at the core of our practice. Four decades later, we remain a growing, privately-owned, comprehensive cancer center bringing the latest research and state-of-the-art treatment to our patients. We are proud to be leading the way in cancer research for the many communities we serve.
