Peoria Woman Reflects on Preventative Double Mastectomy
PEORIA – In the wake of Angelina Jolie’s decision to get a double mastectomy, a Peoria woman remembers making the same decision because of the same genetic mutation.
“In my family I’ve seen women grow up, or children grow up without their mothers and I just didn’t want that to happen to my family,” Cathy D’Souza said.
