I love spending time with my family – kids and grandkids. My husband and I enjoy riding motorcycles and traveling.
What medical change has impacted the field of cancer the most since you began practicing medicine?
There have been many new treatment modalities and medications introduced just in the last few years, which is very exciting!
Why did you choose your field?
I chose oncology because it is a uniquely rewarding field – both deeply challenging and continually evolving. It pushes me to stay current with the most innovative, state-of-the-art therapies so I can provide the best possible care. Most importantly, it allows me to support patients and their families through some of the most meaningful moments of their lives.
Do you have any advice to give patients after they have been diagnosed with cancer?
Don’t give up hope! We will work together as a team to treat your cancer while maintaining your wishes as a patient.
