ILCC Strengthens Clinical Team With Addition of Dr. Nadia Rehman
PEORIA, Ill. January 5, 2017 – Illinois CancerCare is pleased to welcome Dr. Nadia Rehman to its clinical team. A board-certified physician, Rehman comes to Illinois CancerCare with 3 years of experience, most recently with a private practice group in California. She treats patients with all forms of cancer. Her primary area of specialty is working with patients diagnosed with breast cancer.
“I am happy to be returning to central Illinois,” said Rehman. “I grew up in Peoria. I have always felt that it was a great place to raise a family. My parents still live in Peoria and I returned shortly after completing my training to be close to them. Just as important, I am proud to be a member of this world-class team of oncologists and advanced practice providers and the difference they make in the lives of those stricken with cancer.”
Rehman is a graduate of the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. She did her internal medical residency at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis and her Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at the University of California-Davis. Rehman is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology.
